Lidocaine helps numb the anus/ rectum. Definitely helps fissures and the burning. When did this all start ? Have you been seen by many doctors. What are they doing for you. You have some of the best healthcare available up in Canada. If you are not happy with your doctors and diagnosis go to Specialist and or University Med Centers where they have the newest and latest education, diagnostics, treatment and more. I see you really haven’t filled out much regarding your story , updates etc. the more you put into this the more you will get out of it. Besides lots of caring knowledgeable people offering advise. If you are not comfortable in This public forum you may text me or call me anytime. 209/819-0979. Just remind me who you are. I get a lot of private people who need to talk.

I use Lidocaine jelly 2.5 % on my anus and it does help with the unGodly burning I have. Also use the 5 %. On my muscles and it also does help. I like CBD ointment better though.

Try and Google your question. You will get good info. Try Johns Hopkins Hospital site also. Good luck.
