I had the SCS Put IN MY Back 5 weeks ago today and I haven’t had the stabbing horrific screaming PAIN at all!!! I take 10 - 325 mg Hydrocodine for Break through pain.

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member the SCS dosent have medicine in it. You must be referring to a pain pump.

My pain dr is pushing me to get it but i don't want it. I've got a fb friends that has one & she's had allot of problems with it! It flipped inside of her causing a great deal of pain & unwanted surgeries! Also if you lose insurance they won't put medicine in it but you'll still have to go monthly to have saline put in it which is useless & quite expensive!

I'm 7 1/2 weeks post OP with mine. I have the Nevro HF10. I got about 75% relief with the trial. It's a work in progress with the permanent. So far its help the pain down the front of my leg. I'm still having low back pain and nerve pain in toes. Monday I see my local rep for reprogramming. It's not a quick fix. It does not work for everyone. Do the trial..talk with your surgeon then make a decision.
