A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I got the flu vaccine on Thursday and by that evening, the shot site was the size of an egg and I started to feel Blah. By Sunday I felt like I had full blown flu. Has this happened to others?

They actually have shots for people who are allergic to eggs now so that need not be a deterrent to folks who should really get the flu vaccine each year. I have a difficult time understanding why any health professional would not obtain accurate information on the value of vaccination on public health. I seriously have concerns about their intelligence and ability to work in the modern world where scientific information is so available to those in the field and it is really our duty to educate people on the latest real issues not the fake debunked stuff that people repeat from garbage research with no causal relationships established if one applies decent statistical analysis or research principals. People die from the flu . Love your neighbor as yourself, do the right thing. For us with chronic pain flu shot every year. our pneumonia shot multi-strain at 50 and our shingles at 60 folks. I am a master's prepared nurse .
